Will the Irig 2 work on a acoustic electric kalimba?

I know Irig works on guitars & keyboards, but will they work on kalimbas?

If your kalimba has a pickup on it, you should be able to output that to the iRig 2. The iRig 2 does need to be connected to a compatible app to engage such as iRig Recorder 3, AmpliTube, or many 3rd party apps available.
