ARC System 3 - Software only ?

Hi guys, just curious as to why IK is selling the ARC System 3 - without Microphone ?
Can one actually use the ARC System 3 without a Microphone ? And if so how exactly would you use it ?

Yes, you can use it with the previous ARC microphones or any measurement microphone that has a calibration/measurement file. Per the ARC 3 web page:

ARC System 3 includes a precision-manufactured MEMS room analysis microphone, for the most precise measurements possible. But you can also use generic measurement microphones, and even load a mic calibration file for superior accuracy.
