There are several drum kits in SampleTank with the following description: "An instrument from the SampleTank 2.5XL library that has been optimized for SampleTank3."
What is the mapping of these drum kits? Or are these just collections of drum samples without any mapping in particular? Is it possible to remap them to GM (inside SampleTank or through the editor)? I am new to SampleTank - just bought it in the group buy.

Thanks! Many of them are standard GM, but quite a few aren't. It seems the latter are standard I-Map. That's good enough to know. One more thing - is there any chance of remapping the I-Map kits to GM in SampleTank or the editor?

I doubt it as I-MAP uses more hit types than GM.
But, in a Windows DAW, you could use CodeFN42's Note Mapper to do the remapping.
