Syntronik's Favorites Location?

Some time ago I moved my Syntronik and ST3 libraries to an external USB drive, but have lost my favorites. I believe it is still installed on my computer, but where would I find it so I can delete the old stuff on my computer and transfer my favorites? (I'd rather not go through all those presets again!)

If you use a Mac you can go to Macintosh HD/Users/Shares/IKMultimedia/Sampletank3/Instruments

Each instruments folder has a "user" subfolder where your custom presets reside.

I think you would have to go to other folders like Multis and/or Patterns to find other custom presets.

Sorry, I could have been a little more clear, and thank you for the help.

I am using a Mac, but I have all the presets. What went missing is the record of my 'favorite' presets (done by selecting the star on the bottom), so that you can filter by favorites.

Hmm, on Windows 7 here, it looks like they are stored in
.../My Documents/IK Multimedia/SampleTank 3/content.db
but I do not know what else is in there, so just copying it across could be "problematic".

I had the same question (MacOS Catalina), came here, no useful answer, asked IKM support and ...

[username]/Documents/IK Multimedia/Syntronik/instruments.db

That db file keeps track of all those painstaking "favorite" choices we make.

@baumel Long time coming but wanted to say THANK YOU for sharing that crucial nugget of info! I was able to restore my SampleTank favorites after moving the content files to another disk made them disappear upon rescan. I just reached into a backup and replaced said instruments.db — whew.
