Hey all-sorry about the noob question-is it possible to record a drum machine on the 8 Track recorder of the AmpliTube 5? Was wondering--just want to throw together a quick demo on it...Thanks!

If you mean an external drum machine connected via line inputs to your audio interface, then yes. AT5 will see any audio input and record it as such, dependent on what you have set in your Audio/MIDI preferences in the app.

Be aware though that track one of the multi-track will already be loaded with the default amp setup in a new project, so disable that first.

Thanks for the quick reply--yeah I was wondering if it'd be okay through the audio interface. I appreciate the info on the default amp set up on track one and that it will have to be disabled. Thanks again! Have a good one.

Yep, you should be fine with anything from a drum machine to a vocal for quick demos.
