Amplitube 4 and 5 installed simultaneously?[Resolved]

Postby SebFri » Wed Mar 03, 2021 8:12 pm

Hi,

I'm currently using Amplitube 4 CS and would like to test Amplitube 5 CS. Can I install it via Product Manager without losing the older version and my presets? In other words: Can Amplitube 4 and 5 CS be installed simultaneously and used simultaneously in a DAW? Or will one overwrite the other?

Yes, yes, yes and no. :)

They are different programs and plug-ins. AT5 will not replace AT4 in your projects or DAW.

Hello,

I have the same question, but from another perspective:

Amplitube 5 SE is installed and I would like to install Amplitube 4 Deluxe, too. In my Product Manager software overview I can see beneath "Amplitube 5 -> installed" that I have the Amplitube 4 Deluxe Licence. But how to install it? There is no download or install button.

Thanks for any hint :)

UPDATE: found a direct download under "past releases" in my product overview on the website. Hope I can install it directly now.

Odd - I have AmpliTube 4 in my IKPM (its Serial Number is already Registered).

Anyway, as you have found, you can download AT4 from your User Area on the web site. I think that the next steps are:
-- In the IKPM, click [Register Product] and enter the AT4 Deluxe Serial Number.
-- run the AT4 installer
-- refresh the IKPM and check the status of AT4
-- run the (new) Custom Shop and select "Restore my Purchases" - all your AT4 Deluxe gear will now also be available in AT5. :)
