'bulit-in mic'

I am using a Fishman Tripleplay MIDI guitar interface with AmpliTube, but when I open the program the only option for input is 'bulit-in mic', which gives awful feedback. There is no drop-down option for Tripleplay or anything else (I even tried my Oxygen 25 keyboard controller). Please advise. Thank you.

AmpliTube is expecting a guitar signal from an audio interface. I think the Fishman MIDI range only output MIDI signals don't they?

That would be fine to control a soft synth such as SampleTank, but not as an input to AmpliTube.
