I don't get it . . . in Amplitube 4 I can stack a rack full of whatever I want . . . in Amplitube 5 I can only put TWO post cabinet effects? That doesn't even make sense. What am I missing?

You can add up to 6 effects after the master mixer, plus 2 after each cabinet (6 in total, if you use the 3 amps/cabs)

I'm excited to hear how that's possible, because I only get to drop in two post-cab and none after the mixer. I can drop in four via FX loop, but that's not really where I need them.

The number of effects slots in each part of the chain is detailed in the user manual (one list / graphic for each - single, double, triple chain). You can find that information there.

I just discovered you can also add 4 fx to the amps loop between the amp and cab.
Some fx, like chorus and reverb, sound better in the master bus to me.
They sound wider in the master bus like they are stereo fx and turn to mono when put in the amps loop.
