Why is it that I cannot load certain chain models and I'm told I require Amplitube 5 when I own amplitube 5???? This seems to have started ever since I grabbed the free Solodano head.

Try unauthorizing and reauthorizing, I think I read that worked for some.
Windows 11, i5 11600k, 32 gigs of ram, Audient id4 @ 32 buffer. 44.1k sample rate.
