I do not know which one to choose?
Sorry I don't know if this is the right place.
In fact I would like to buy an IRIG to play with my electric guitar and also from time to time plug in my acoustic guitar. Can the IRIG HD 2 do this? Can I plug these two guitars into it? Not at the same time but is it compatible? thank you

Hello Mika_64 and welcome to the forums.

Yes, the iRig HD2 will work with an acoustic guitar as well as an electric, although the quality of the sound from the acoustic guitar will always be defined by the quality of the pickup fitted.

Realistically, the average bridge saddle piezo pickup on an electro-acoustic guitar is good enough for a live sound/stage environment but not really workable for recording as it doesn't really convey all the nuance of an acoustic guitar. You're always better getting a microphone in front of it.

One last question,

On the description, you say that with the Irig HD2 we have the full version of Amplitube 4, but how does it work? we have to order it on your site to have this functionality? or even if you buy it on a commercial site, it's the same?
And all the modules are unlocked?

As far as I know, it makes no difference whether you order direct from IKM or buy from another retailer. The serial numbers for the included software will either be in the box with the interface, or they will appear in your User Area once you have registered it.

The best way to get absolute confirmation of these questions will be to open a ticket with the Sales Support team using this link.
