help please for novice/missing sounds

ive just purchased syntronik but i keep getting this message on lots of sounds i click on.im getting problems in syntronik sam and T03.ive seen PAK for these on mac so cannot understand whats going on
in T03 avalon acid patch for example im getting message instrumentST4 error cannot locate tank at path/user/ shared/ikmultimedia/sampletank3/samples/53syntronikT03/T03meddecay/T03 saw med decay high res pak
lots of sounds have same message ERROR

tried rescan,tried clearing syntronik completely off my mac and starting over.
i have noticed on final part of download it says check internet connection?i just let it run.
my internet is 60mb fiber broadband and its running fine
running mojave 10.14.6/32 gb ram/3.5 ghz

I may well suggest that a ticket to Official IK Support will be the best thing, but I want to just check a few things:

1) Are any of Syntronik instruments working?
2)

path/user/ shared/ikmultimedia/sampletank3/samples/53syntronikT03/T03meddecay/T03 saw med decay high res pak

If you follow the path is the *.pak where it should be?
3) Are you using the Product Manager to download and install?
4) What disk path have you got showing in Settings>Library in Syntronik app
5) Do you have SampleTank 3 or 4 installed as well?

If this is the pathway shown in Settings>Library then something has gone wrong with the install or setup. Did you put this pathway in manually or was it automatically done on install?

As it looks like there might be a fair bit to untangle, I think the best way to proceed will be to open a ticket with Official Support here: https://www.ikmultimedia.com/contact-su ... ck=QUICKSW If you click on Search FAQ you'll see a link at the top of the page to submit a Tech Support Form.

They endeavour to reply within 2 working days, but obviously considering the current situation (and Xmas holidays) things may take longer than usual.

ive done that now sent it in to ik.also i allowed permissions on mac by letting it through security/microphone on ok too

a kind guy at apple got access to my mac today.he said many files missing from downloads.
still awaiting reply from ik.
i did not change the path of the files.ive re downloaded 3 times and still missing.
my question is can these files be replaced?
most are missing in syntronik SAM and TO3.
all together i have 38 files missing from download

Yes, it sounds like the folder organisation has got out of whack, somehow.

A few more questions, I'm afraid:
-- what is the full path to the SAM instruments?
-- what is the full path to the T03 instruments?
-- what is the full path to the other Syntronik instruments?

While you are waiting for Support to reply, please have a close look at the expected folder hierarchy, as described here: https://www.ikmultimedia.com/faq/index.php?id=1239

For what it's worth, I think that the path in SampleTank 3's and Syntronik's Settings should be:
/user/ shared/ikmultimedia/sampletank3
and the paths in SampleTank 4's Settings / Sound content should be
/user/ shared/ikmultimedia/sampletank4 (my educated guess)
and
/user/ shared/ikmultimedia/sampletank3

Don't be worried. Technical Support (or we) will sort you out.

At the risk of confusing things, maybe you can go to your User Area / My Products and download fresh copies of the SAM and T03 sounds from there? FInd Syntronik and click [Sounds Downloads]. Don't run them yet, just compare the sizes with those that the IK Product Manager downloaded.

i also tried downloading from user area but when i download and open it says aborted nothing to download.
this is driving me nuts

Thank you for that path information.

Just for info, those are for the sample files (with a .pak file extension); there are probably similar folders in the "Instruments" folder, containing the instrument files (with a .st3i file extension).

Now, as you might have guessed, the "53__Syntronik Blau" folder should only contain sub-folders and files for the Syntronik Blau sounds. Each of the synths in Syntronik should have its own sub-folder in "Instruments" and in "Samples". Quite how those sub-folders/files got into that folder I do not know. But it does explain why the software reports them as "missing", that is, not in the expected location.

Again, a caveat: please do not do anything until Support advise you, as I am, necessarily, working on incomplete information. It might be possible for Technical Support to access your system to see exactly what is going on, I don't know. Meanwhile, it might be useful to create a list of the folders, sub-folders (and files?) in your SampleTank 3 library and send that to Support. Can that be done on OSX?

Im still waiting to hear from them.been 3 days now.apple tec had another look today and can see stuff is in wrong place but don't know how to rectify. I will wait to speak to ik
