Adding an instance of a eq at end of chain adds color/volume

This seems to be particularly present in the neve emu. I'm adding it after the speaker cab and it changes the sound pretty dramatically. Is this on purpose? A bug? Something I need to open a ticket for?
Windows 11, i5 11600k, 32 gigs of ram, Audient id4 @ 32 buffer. 44.1k sample rate.

I'm bumping this. It's really obvious and kinda annoying. I don't know if this is on purpose or a bug. Guess it's time for another ticket.

The forum mods/admins nor users would be able to fix or provide the developers' intent on this. So a ticket would be the best option.
