I have just downloaded and installed Amplitube 5 restarted my PC clicked on the Amplitube 5 icon in my start menu and I get the following error....The code execution cannot proceed because VCRUNTIME140_1.dll was not found.Reinstalling the program may fix the problem.
What is going on here?

By the way, where is a PDF manual installed, or from where I can download it. I haven't been able to locate a new manual on my hard disk or in my online user area yet (but I am probably just still looking in the wrong places).

That is a Microsoft Redistributable Run-time Library.

As this is primarily a user to user forum, someone-else may chip in [#]. Meanwhile, the best thing to do is check the FAQs, via here. If they do not resolve the issue, there is a link at the top to the Technical Support form, for some one to one investigation and help. Response time is usually within 2 working days (US (East Coast) Business hours, generally), but in the current circumstances please allow some more time.

[#] But please remember that the same symptoms do not necessarily mean the same problem.

And, to help others who run into a similar problem, please let us know what you did to resolve the problem. Please do not quote directly any correspondence from Support, as that may apply only to your particular circumstances.

The User Manual is installed when the software is installed.

Please see FAQ 1395 https://www.ikmultimedia.com/faq/index.php?id=1395

On Windows, there should also be a shortcut in the Start >> All Programs >> IK Multimedia .. menu

BUT where can I find user's guide manual? same question for CS
It is really necessary since UI is splendid but needs some explanations...

^^^
See my previous post. AT5 CS does not have a separate manual.

Hi

Unfortunately it is not there...
on web site it says
All App based user manuals can also be found inside the app in the Menu under the Help section.

Keep in mind, all software downloads are included with your product installers. These can be found in the following locations if you have your software installed.

Windows/PC:

C:\\Program Files\IK Multimedia\Product Name

macOS/Apple:
Mac HD -> Library -> Documentation ->IK Multimedia -> Product Name

But no help menu on MAC stand alone app, and the referenced folder does not exist on my system :(

what is the name of the pdf file? I can search for it

Just download and install the Visual C++ 2015 Library, that fixed the problem for me:

I'm really impressed by AmpliTube 5.. and buying the max version was the right way to go (for me, as I didn't own much of the gear already).

I didn't spend that long with it- maybe 30 minutes as I'm sick as a dog- but I'm really looking for to tracking some songs with it.

Good job IK.

Anyone know when AmpliTube 6 is coming out?
