As far as I know, at the moment, that is not possible. Maybe a way to "Try" AT5 will be added to the IK Product Manager or Custom Shop.

Well, that's disappointing. Buying without trying is a no-go for me.

Just got AmpliTube 5 up and running... So far, so good... However, i cant seem to find a way to transfer my old AmpliTube 4 max customized patches into AmpliTube 5. Is there a way to move them over in bulk? One at a time? Or do i have to rebuild them piece by piece?

I was able to successfully install AT5 on my iMac running Big Sur 11.1 without any issues. I had to go into Custom Shop to unlock my Jet City collection, but my other collections were fine, including Orange and Fender. Looks and sounds great, the graphics are nice and crisp. The new workflow will take a little while to get used to.

The one thing I noticed is in the Product Manager, after installation, it said I was registered and had 9 authorizations remaining. The authorization didn't register on the IK website in my user area, even after refreshing the page, so I used the Authorization Manager and now the website shows 9 authorizations with the long authorization code.

Is the Authorization Manager still needed now that we have the Product Manager?

Thanks- Dave

AXE I/O + Amplitube Max Bundle question

Postby Bscur1 » Wed Dec 16, 2020 7:41 pm

Hello,
Has anyone who bought the Amplitube Max + AXE I/O bundle received their Max version? I only see Amplitube 5SE and Custom Shop on my products page and when installed, they don't have the Brian May or Satriani gear. Has this been fixed or addressed for anyone?
Thanks

I initially had it change my Sample Rate on sound card to 96 but once figured that out, it sounds great. There is a bit higher CPU than old (older machine but high end HP Workstation w quad core xeon 3.0, 16GB RAM, SSD drive). But so far digging it.

If you've received and registered your AXE I/O bundle with the included serial number and still don't see your AmpliTube 5 MAX please contact IK Support and they will look at your account: http://www.ikmultimedia.com/contact-support

Edit: so I opened the standalone version again and the i/o gain level sliders indicated signal was coming in and out but i could not hear sound coming thru my monitors. tried messing around in the control panel and switched the asio driver to direct sound and back again and i/o gain level sliders stopped displaying signal, again no sound.

same problem here. It works fine as a plugin in Cubase but there´s no sound in stand alone mode.

I picked up the upgrade pricing version of Amplitube 5 SE without any problems. Authorization worked right away, and all the AM4 Max gear I had appeared right away.

I was worried my old late 2012 27" iMac would struggle with the upgrade.

In fact, Amp5 seems to have improved performance over Amp4. Very pleased!

Installed, went pretty smoothly from what i can tell.

Does this mean 5 SE installed properly? Is there another way to tell?
