Hi, sounds fishy, lol, but I doubt we "need" to get em pizza. But would be nice, so that's a yes, and get em some pizza! And has to be authentic Italian Pizza. I suggest a Stuffed Chicago pizza pie, lol. It's sooo goooooood!

I'll be respectful but Chicago deep dish is disgusting not my thing :D

Just teasing, everybody has different taste. Even when they're wrong. OK OK I'll stop, it's all in good fun.

I do recommend caffeine over pizza though, the devs and testing team are working their behinds off to get AmpliTube 5 to be amazing for you all. Even those who enjoy Chicago style pizza instead of NY style or, even better, actual Italian pizza.

Hahaha  I love authentic Italian pizza over any other style actually, And I do like Chicago Stuffed Pizza, NY sure, but it's all about the sauce! and cheese! lol. Oh and the crust!!!

Amplitube is like pizza, there's always a sauce, choice of beefy, and just the right amount of cheesy, that every one likes...lol

But let us get back to idflyfish sending that pizza !!!

Ronnie Wood covering Dylan's Seven Days!

Seven days, seven more days she'll be comin'
I'll be waiting at the station for her to arrive
Seven more days, all I gotta do is survive.

You're welcome. I'm glad that we helped.

Now all you have to do is hold on until December 15. ;)

Forgive me AmpliTube I have strayed into the land of helix.
And was sadly very very disappointed, in so many ways I will
Spare you the details, I am just hoping this update does not
Do anything bad to fender or Mesa, they are two very good
And much used tones, I own many blackface fenders,
And at4 is close enough, especially with loud punchy clean,
And Bakersfield tones. And I can track very late, early with headphones..
Unlike my real vibroverbs ..lol
The Mesa pack is my go to for heavy stuff. The dual recto, very close to my real dual recto.
I think helix failed pretty bad in both areas....they did better with the first pod..I find this insane, and customer service issues on top of all that..
To me line6 is intent on making more synth pad tones and other
Effect type stuff that is just not very useful at all, fun to play with
But not what I would call a staple for songwriting...
The bulk of my songwriting is done with fender, and clean country tones.
Or very slight breakup blues, please don’t try to make fender a high gain thing it’s not,
Nor will ever be...I think that is exactly what line6 did.
Anyway look forward to the update, not sure how I will update this time.
I have everything except satch, and Brian May, satch I like , Brian May not so much,
I want to run this before I jump....the ir deal looks very promising!!
And I have some tasty ir’s of my own.

What happens to the existing gear in AmpliTube 5 is the opposite of "anything bad".

Now to make sure we're on track, we're shooting for the 15th and it should be the 15th SOMEWHERE when released :D

I think it's pretty sad there's not even a slight reduction of price for existing users.

It's 149;- no matter if you own amp 4 already, or buy new.

I've bought every Amplitube since 2, and it's never been cheaper to update than to buy all new.

I suppose the only option is to get the 99€ version and be limited in amp quantity...well I have the metal and Hendrix and Fender packs so it's not that terrible...but still...would it kill the company to at least knock at least a bit, like even 10-20% off the price for existing users, if nothing but a goodwill gesture?

This ^^^^^^ is not an accurate statement and has been mentioned several times in various forums. If you do not own any amplitube products the pre-order price for Amplitube 5 is $199. If you own a qualifying product the price drops to $149. Use some jam points and it can get even lower by 30% to about $105.

The confusion arises because if you are logged into the IK site, you'll see the price you are eligible for, not the price for everyone. You can test this by logging out of the IK site, and adding AT 5 to your cart to see the price. Then, log back in and do the same thing. You'll see the discount applied if you are eligible.
