Problem restoring filter parameters in SampleTank 4

Postby twilli003 » Sun Oct 11, 2020 2:32 am

I'm having a problem saving and restoring some filter parameters in SampleTank 4.
For example, if I change the filter Driver parameter in the "Amped Synth" preset, it is not restored to the modified value when reopening the project after saving it.
A similar problem occurs with the Freq, Res and Driver parameters in the "Electronic Pop Kit 2 Stage" preset, for example.

Example steps to reproduce:

1) Insert an instance of SampleTank 4 on a track in Bitwig Studio.

2) Load the Amped Synth preset.

3) Change the filter Drive parameter.

4) Save and close the Bitwig project.

5) Reopen the Bitwig project.

The Drive parameter is not restored to the value it was set to before saving the project.

I tried a similar test in Reaper and encountered the same problem.

I just tried the same thing (using Amped Synth in Sampletank 4.13) in Cakewalk by Bandlab 2020.9 Build 006 and the filter parameter in this preset was saved with the Cakewalk project.

Are you using the latest version of both Sampletank and Bitwig?

Have you tried saving the Sampletank configuration as a Multi

I'm running the latest version (4.1.3) of SampleTank 4.
I ran a test using the standalone version of ST 4 and encountered the same issue when saving as a multi.
