Starting to first use the Irig HD 2

I'm now attempting to use the Irig HD2 on my PC with AmpliTube 4. What is the 1st steps in reference to starting to use of this? I plug in everything, first the instrument cable into irig jack and connect irig then to the pc. AmpliTube opens up. Now what steps do I follow just in starting to use this I rig for the 1st time in order to record. I strum my guitar with headphones on. I get nothing. Haven't found any instructions in just beginning to use and what simple steps to use to get things in motion.

Did you run through chapters 2 and 11 in the User Guide? If not, then try that and let us know if / where you run into a problem.
