SampleTank created a partition on my disk? [Resolved]

Postby DThompson55 » Sun Aug 16, 2020 7:48 pm

It looks like sample tank created its own partition on my disk!? Seems unacceptable. How do I get rid of that? MacOS

No, SampleTank does not do that.

But without any details we would only be guessing at what has happened.

As this is primarily a user to user forum, someone-else may chime in [#]. Meanwhile, the best thing to do is check the FAQs, via here. If they do not resolve the issue, there is a link to the Technical Support form, for some one to one investigation and help. Please let Support have as many details as you can - what steps you took and what the results were. Response time is usually within 2 working days (US (East Coast) Business hours, generally), but in the current circumstances please allow some more time.

[#] But please remember that the same symptoms do not necessarily mean the same problem.

Moderators can remove the thread.

But, first, we would be interested to hear how you resolved the problem, as other users may be concerned..

After some initial concern I realized the installer was mounted as a separate file system, show in Finder. I just unmounted it from the little unmount button.
