Orange Suite Not working with Free version of AT4 [Resolved]

Fixed: It just started working randomly after opening and closing Reaper a few times.

Just bought the Orange amp and cab package. Don't have a paid version of Amplitube, just the free one. Do I have to purchase Amplitube 4 in order to use the Orange products for recording? Or maybe did I just don't know to use software correctly. It opens different Orange amps, but none of the dial buttons work and I get the same default guitar sound, doesn't change.

Any help is appreciated. I really don't have $150 for Amplitube 4.

No. The free version is fine host the add-on gear packs.

Make sure you have used the Authorisation Manager to authorise the serial numbers for AT4CS and the Orange collection, both of these can be found in your User Area.

You could try opening the Custom Shop app (which will have been installed with the other apps) and navigate to AmpliTube>Gear>Restore My Gear. That usually sorts out issues such as this.

Do you hear changes when you are using the (non-Orange) included amps? It could be that you are only listening to your Direct guitar sound, rather than monitoring via the software. Can you tell us your OS/platform and what DAW and audio interface you are using?

I'm not sure what was going on. It started working last night out of the blue. May have been a hick up in the software. I closed and opened Reaper a few times and it started working just fine. I do get a pop up on some of the Orange amps, saying I don't have certain mics installed. But everything is working and loving the Orange sound without spending way too much money.
