Level Control On Cabinet Page [Resolved]

Postby rMidi » Fri Jun 26, 2020 9:00 pm

Forgive my ignorance, I could not find any mention of this within the manual.

What exactly is the Level Control dial in the lower left hand corner of the cabinet page actually controlling?

In case it is not on every cabinet page I am using the SVX-15R.

For those with a wry sense of humor I will give the first response so we can all giggle!

Response:
' It sets the level'

Is it a level control on one of the microphones (like a preamp)?

Cheers.

Hi rMidi

As in real life, a number of the Ampeg cabs have high frequency drivers built in. The volume control you refer to adjusts the level of the HF driver.

Hope that helps.
