Mic stand for Studio XLR microphone

Postby kershaj » Sat Jun 20, 2020 3:07 pm

Hi
Couldn't see where else to put this...

I have a Studio XLR mic and table top mic stand but would like to use it with a full size mic stand. Does IK sell a stand up mic stand that this mic will attach to?
Cheers

Hi kershaj and welcome to the forums

I don't think IKM make mic stands, but the cradle that comes with the iRig mic should fit on any standard microphone stand. You should be able to find one at your local musical equipment stockist.
System Specs: 2012 Mac Mini 2.6 i7 & 2015 MBP 2.2 i7, 16GB RAM
macOS10.15.7 Logic 10.6.1 Reason 11
Various IK, NI, Waves, Softube, Eventide, XLN software
Focusrite 18i20 x 2, Novation ReMote 25SL

Hi garfy and thanks for the reply.

I used to have a couple of mic stands but the one I have now is borrowed and doesn't seem to fit the iRig cradle. I have a work around for now but I'll keep a look out for a new one and see how I get on.
Thanks Again!

It would be worth contacting Sales support for advice on suitable stands / cradles.
