Can't open some ST 4 downloads

Hello. I just bought ST4, and downloaded the sounds. 5 of them download ok but my mac then says "disc image can't be opened". The rest are all ok and installed. I downloaded the 5 again, twice, and it's always the same. They are 2 Voice and 3 Synth folders. The downloads do have content, not 0 bytes, but I can't unpack them. Anyone else had this problem? Thanks!

I believe that some others have had similar issues - try a forum Search.
As this is primarily a user to user forum, someone-else may chime in [#]. Meanwhile, the best thing to do is raise a Support Ticket, here for some one to one investigation and help (US (East Coast) Business hours, generally). Response time is usually within 2 working days, but in the current circumstances please allow some more time.

And, to help others who run into a similar problem, please let us know what you did to resolve the problem.

Perhaps you can retry in a day or two? It is possible that these 5 files are somehow corrupted and still residing in your Internet Service Provider caching server...give it some time to flush out from the server.

Hi, thanks for responding. They download fine, just like all the other ST4 .dmg files, but I can't open them; corrupted, maybe, but I can get them on my desktop with no problem... and I've downloaded them again three times now. It's weird.

Just an idea: can you try a different Browser / downloader / computer?

What are you using to unpack those download files?

Now I forced the vocal ones to open using Terminal. That worked on them but not on the synth samples! Odder and odder. But given that the majority of the files did open automatically, it's irritating that a few don't, and that there still won't, on either computer, using any method at all. I'll wait to see what IK have to say...

Are you on Catalina or Mojave?

OK. I had issues with some installers but not the ones in question and it was a different issue

Perhaps the procedure in this thread for finding the internal installers might be of use?

If not, then you'll probably have to wait to hear back from IK support.

Thanks. I managed to get some of the sounds out and place them manually using guesswork now. But there is clearly a difference between the problem downloads and all the rest which open fine. I hope IK can clear this up.
