Lurssen Mastering Console crashes Cubase

Not necessarily. It may reset the files in a way that will work.

I uninstalled the old Lurssen plugin and installed the new one.
I tried it in Cubase Elements 10.5 and no crash, works fine.

You need to uninstall first the Lurssen plugin and going to My Product and install the latest one.

Just tried to unistall and re-install.. No luck.... Also deactivated the asio guard. Guess I have a different issue.....Thanks for the info.

what happens if you uninstall it and remove all referencs to it from system. [1]
- reboot
- launch Cubase and have it rescan all plugins.
- then re-install it.

[1] sometimes you have to launch terminal, su as root, then go through the /Library/ and /Users/$username/Library/ and remove a bunch of files and plist files.

You can try a command like below from within Terminal as root.

it should list where the files might be.

I tried tonight the Lurssen plugin in Cubase Elements 10.5 after new installation as advised the technical support but unfortunately it wiped the Cubase and crashed again, not happy.

hmm. yeah, i tried it on my setup. I am running OS X 10.13.6. my DAW is Cubase. Its crashing here as well. i removed it. sounds good and interesting. but i guess not stable on OS X.

in case it helps. jhere are the files it places. you can remove them manually.

It has been tested on macOS. I'm sure IK Support can help you. Please send them any crash info like I see posted above if you have not done so already. They will figure out what is happening for you and fix it.

I didn't but it b/c of the crash. but seems useful tool. i will send crash report. but basically, it crashed when you turn the input knob in specific situations.

I am in contact with IK Support and already sent them the error report and more info.
The last information they asked me is about the Sample Rate and Buffer Size of my session, I've already sent them these infos too.
I'll keep you updated if I have any new info from them.

FWIW.. i couldn't replicate the crash a 2nd time using 9.5. No issues. I can't explain the crash. Maybe related to another VST.

I can confirm the same behaviour in Logic Pro 10.5.1. The console works fine till any touch of push - it doesn't`t matter if button rotating or manual entering of the new value.

Hi,
I am a Mac user experiencing LMC crashing Cubase, Ableton Live and Reason.
I had a support ticket opened in April 2021 but have not had the issue resolved yet.
I was just wondering if anyone else out there is still having the same problem?
Support has suggested a work around (using the generic editor ie non GUI) until the issue is resolved. This does work but is not a great user experience.
Am I alone?
