Spacewalker - trying out some Spaceport '77 sounds.

Postby mklankin@hotmail.com » Sun Apr 26, 2020 2:53 am

Hey all,

This song is from Fall/19 and came about after trying out some of the Spaceport ’77 sounds for ST4.

IK sounds:
ST4 - from Spaceport ’77
Philharmonik - a little violin at the end
MODO Drums - Bubinga kit
various revs and One from TRackS

Hope u like.
Michael

Nice! Do you recall which reverbs you used from T-RackS?

I like the vibe, and I have to say that Bubinga kit in MODO DRUM makes me very happy every time I hear it.

Sure,

Acoustic guitar = CSR plate ("short stereo plate" preset)
Main and BG Vox bus = CSR room ("diffused large room" preset)
and MODO Drums just used the onboard rev in this case....still worked out.

I am also a fan of the Bubinga kit...and MODO Drum overall, of course.

Thanks for the inquiry.

Thanks for the extra information. I bet T-RackS Sunset Sound Studio Reverb would sound great on these tracks. Though CSR is an underrated hero of a reverb plugin.

That gives me an idea. I wonder if users would be interested in sharing sessions/stems for others to mix/remix here in the Jam Session? I should post a poll or at least question about this as I think it would be a great way to collaborate and perhaps even just to cure some of the "stay at home blues" for a lot of folks out there.
