Summary:
I’d like to be able to back up the presets and tone models I have loaded but save them with a specific name so I can restore those backups later by choice
Problem / Use Case:
i might have different needs for different gigs. If I can save the bckup with a name, I can swap out my presets and tone models as needed. Additionally, I learned the hard way that backups are overwritten during sync. So if I swap preset orders into different banks or overwrite them accidentally, my back up is no longer what I had a few minutes prior.
Proposed Solution:
Allow naming your backup something other than the default when preforming a manual backup. The sync can still go to the default backup file. Create the ability to restore from a specific backup, which then syncs to become the default backup file. Desired changes to a specific backup file can be overwritten by choice when performing the backup.
Priority / Impact:
medium but also should be easy to implement.
