Oh man, one of the two reason why I bought the AXE I/O interface was the Amp out... I thought it would be good not to have yet another hardware (separate reamp box) since the AXEIO has one in box...

[mod redacted - please review the rules, this is not a support forum and one fix may not fit all even if it seems like "the exact same issue"]

I cannot speak for everyone, but I certainly got no "private fix" from IK Support. Did anyone, actually? I do not think that there is a "fix" (private or public); I think that's just "how it is".

I ended up getting a super-clean, super-hot boost pedal and calibrated it to bring the signal (from either the Amp Out or a Line Out->reamp box) up to match the actual input signal levels from my guitars. It does the job.

To be fair, I looked around for either interfaces or ramp boxes that would do a good job of this on their own, but all the ones (of either) that I found were fairly expensive pro-level stuff. (And there are limits to what it's worth my spending money on! ) Since I'm not usually re-amping with the objective of obtaining a clean tone :P I figure any tiny amount of saturation that might be introduced by the clean boost is probably negligible for my purposes.

I'm thinking about using an eq pedal to boost the signal perhaps... I have a modded Boss GE-7 (with the low noise IC chips) and a 10-band eq... Of course I would start by just boost the level and not any frequencies, but I also feel like this would "mask" the true sound of the signal in some way...

I must say this is extremely dissapointing.
This is the precise reason I purchased the Axe One. For re-amping.
I already have a scarlett solo, which to be perfectly honest, is better at everything else.

"Real amp integration with Amp Out
The exclusive Amp Out allows players to connect directly to a guitar amplifier or a guitar rig for practicing using a hybrid setup of virtual and real guitar gear. Or it can be used for reamping, the technique of recording a dry guitar signal and using external gear for processing, or even to capture your own real rig and turn it into a plug-in using the included artificial intelligence software."

It seems IK is unable to solve this issue, so as far as Im concerned, its false advertising.

Lets see if Amazon refunds me.
