I have this clipping issue that developed randomly despite the volume levels being quite low on both the physical interface knob and also the digital control panel. This issue happens with Amplitube, _, as well as just the clean DI signal and application audio such as YouTube.
Buffer size is 128 and sample rate is 44.1. Input gain at 9 o’clock. Passive selected for passive pick ups. Playing through AXE IO into ASUS gaming laptop into Yamaha HS8 studio monitors.
The fact it happens in multiple applications leads me to think it’s either a sound setting issue, or an interface issue. Tried multiple guitars, multiple instrument cables, power cycles, updated laptop, searched for driver updates for ASIO. I’m literally stumped right now.
