Amplitube 5 V2 Max crashes after ToneX 5 Max Update

Postby PhilIsix » Mon Dec 02, 2024 11:12 pm

Hi,

In the free software version, it worked, but now Amplitube 5 V2 crashes.
It seems to be a right authorization due to authorization Manager or Product Manager
Remark : No AmpliTube 5.settings file existe in Appdata\Roaming\Ampltube 5.
but in Appdata\Local\Crashdump every time a Dump is from issue.
I hope the solution will be found. Going to give all screen copies now.

I put confidence in support team

Solution: Amplitube 5 V2 Max crash

Postby PhilIsix » Wed Dec 04, 2024 5:56 pm

Hi,

Thanks to support Team , but I found the reason why on Windows 11.

It is because of driver ASIO4ALL that causes Amplitube crash.
ASIO4ALL must be non started or uninstalled, because it is waiting for
external connections for AXE I/O or other external gear for reamping
needing 2 inputs ans 2 outputs, or other configurations of 4 sources input / output.

I think it can solve ans save yiou hours and hours of searching but not for nothing.

See Ya.

ASIO4ALL is generally problematic. It is always best to use the ASIO drivers from your audio interface manufacturer. I've never enjoyed any experience I've ever had with ASIO4ALL, if we're being blunt.
