iRig Keys I/O 49 iPad Stand Question

All the videos/images I've seen have the iRig Keys I/O 49 on a flat table, and that seems to be what the included iPad stand sits on as well. Is there a way to attach the iPad stand so it can be used while the keyboard is on a typical X style keyboard stand?

Get yourself a piece of shelf board about 24” x 10” and place it on top of your X-stand. Then place the iRig Keys I/O on top of the shelf board and continue to use the included iPad stand to hold your iPad. You may want to use some Velcro to attach the iPad stand to the shelf board in order to keep it from shifting while playing.
