Can my Lightning iRig HD2 switch to USB-C?

Hello-

Am wondering what I have to do to get my iRig HD2 interface (with lightning connector) to work with a USB-c iPad Pro.

Would I just buy this cable?

And if so, will the iRig also work with my existing iPad with Lightning connector? I feel I may have to update firmware perhaps, and then lose the ability to also use the lightning iPad.

I see that I also have a USB connector for my iRig. I wonder if I could buy this Apple USB to USB-c adapter and then plug into the usb-c iPad.
