Run Multiple AXE I/O Units Concurrently?

Postby lyndess » Mon Feb 07, 2022 6:53 am

Is it possible to connect two AXE I/O units to a PC at the same time to increase the number of audio inputs to 4? (Usually you cannot run two different ASIO devices at the same time, but sometimes it is possible if the units are the same and the driver is smart enough to manage both at the same time.)

Thanks!

For those wondering about the answer to this question ... The answer from IKM tech support is "no" -- you cannot run two Axe I/O devices concurrently to expand the number of available inputs. You also cannot do this with more than one iRig Pro Duo I/O.

On Windows. On Macs you should have the ability to create an aggregate device: https://support.apple.com/en-us/HT202000
