[SOLVED] AXE I/O Locked to 44.1kHz

Postby willemguitar » Mon Feb 10, 2020 11:58 pm

When using Amplitube 4 standalone it locks my AXE to 44.1kHz
In DAW i can set it to 96kHz sadly i cannot test the VST as i dont have VST support in DAW.
In Windows 10 sound options it is also set to 24/96kHz.

I tried deleting the Amplitube settings file.
But still the same 44.1 lock after setting up audio in Amplitube again.

Is this Amplitube issue or AXE driver issue ?
Any solution i can try ?

EDIT: I tested with Ableton and it loads the VST fine while on 96kHz
When i start Amplitube standalone while
Ableton is running i can see the driver tool for AXE I/O keeps switching between 44.1kHz and 96kHz every 2 seconds or so.

It seems Amplitube is forcing AXE I/O into 44.1kHz for some reason

Hello and welcome to the forum.

I am sorry to hear about the problems you are running into.

As this is primarily a user to user forum, someone-else may chime in. Meanwhile, the best thing to do is raise a Support Ticket, here for some one to one investigation and help (US (East Coast) Business hours, generally). Response time is usually within 2 working days

It was acctually realy simple, this is what i got from support:

Load AmpliTube > File > New Session > you can change it here.

I never even knew that option was there lol
Why this cannot be changed in the Audio/Midi Panel setting i have no idea
that is where you would think it is after all.
