Irig keys 2 pro

Is there a way to use the IRig Keys 2 Pro without the built in audio interface? I want to connect to an iPad or laptop and use the built in speakers or connect headphones to the iPad/laptop? Is there a way to disable the audio interface or similar?

Similarly, can I connect to an external audio interface like a regular midi keyboard?

When using the iOS connection, any iOS device will send audio through the built-in audio interface. This is on the iOS level, we do not and cannot control this as it is within iOS itself.

To connect to the MIDI input/output on an external audio interface you'd use the MIDI IN and OUT ports on iRig Keys 2 PRO.
