I purchased Amplitube Max 4 some time ago and I've been looking at the new Axe I/O interface for recording guitar. The hardware comes bundled with the Amplitube software, but since I already own the Max version of Amplitube, I don't need the software. IK Multimedia should provide a version of the hardware for registered owners of Amplitube for a discounted price. At this time, it's the main reason I'm not buying the new interface. My Zoom UAC2 is out for repair, so I am looking for a new interface, but I don't want to pay extra for bundled software I already own. Selling a version that is hardware only shouldn't be an issue and would probably be a deciding factor for current owners of Amplitube looking for a new or upgraded audio interface.
