Query re iRig Pre HD & iPad Pro with USB C

Hi

I have an iPad Pro with USB C. I have 2 questions - (1) Will the iRig Pre HD work with this with a micro USB to USB-C cable? and, if so (2) will the iPad's USB-C connection provide enough bus power for a condenser microphone via the 48v phantom power (i.e like it would via a PC or Mac), or with the iRig Pre HD still require batteries??

Thanks in advance for helping me with my query - I only just came across the iRig Pre HD while looking for a small, light audio interface for recording vocals on my iPad and thikn it might be my perfect solution!!
