Newbie here, my name is Gio, I'm getting started on audio and midi recording with two synths that I bought a couple of years ago, a microKorg and a Roland SH-01A.
Thing is, I'm writing you because I can only seem to have the iRig Pro Duo that I bought a month ago to partially work : when I use it for its MIDI channels, I manage to get input from the keyboard and record it as MIDI signals into the DAW (latest Logic), but I don't manage to play back on the synth MIDI signals that are already in the DAW.
Of course, port IN of the iRig pro goes into OUT of the keyboard, and vice-versa.
I already tested this set up with another MIDI to USB cable of mine, and it works just fine, so I don't really understand why it shouldn't work with the iRig...
Let me know if you guys see where I might be making a newbie mistake...
