What to choose?

Hello IK and all users!

I got simple question. Any recommendations.
Few days ago I purchase MacBook Pro 2018 as portable studio. I’m looking some simple but high quality soundcard for producing when I’m not in my main studio. I planning mostly produce with headphones or maybe purchase small speakers .

I’m looking at all iRig products and don’t know what is right in my case.

Recommendations?

Thanx

Hi Vitali

What is it that you're hoping to achieve with your mobile rig? Are you wanting to record signals from microphones or outputs from guitars/instruments as well? Or are you just wanting to mix when mobile, with the tracking being done at your main studio? What about MIDI?

If you give a bit more detail I'm sure solutions can be suggested.

Forgot to mention. I’m not playing record audio instruments (mic, guitar..etc). Just use Reason or maybe Logic too to produce music with VST and buildin instruments.

Do you already have a USB MIDI keyboard?

If so, I would suggest just using the MBP's 3.5mm jack out for headphones/small powered speakers and see how far you can push it before it glitches. I think you'll be surprised at what Core Audio can do.

If you find that the Mac can handle your projects without need for an external interface, you could look at the iLoud MM or MTM speakers. I've not used them myself, but the reviews are looking good for them https://www.ikmultimedia.com/products/i ... L=Speakers

Hope that helps.
