iRig Stream won't power on

I bought an iRig stream solo and despite trying mulitple sets of batteries, it would not power on. I thought it was a bad unit since it appeared to be out of the box so I bought another one that was in-box and the same thing. Even with the known new batteries from Amazon, the green power light never comes on. I have tried connecting it to my phone and also RCA cables playing music and nothing happens. What am I missing? Is there just a bad batch of these things out in the marketplace that just don't work?

You would definitely need to connect it to your device to get the green power light to come on. If you are using an adapter please make sure that adapter will work with your iRig Stream Solo. I would suggest contacting IK Support via https://www.ikmultimedia.com/contact-support/hw so they can assist you directly and troubleshoot to see what exactly is going wrong here. Thank you.

I don’t think the adapter is the issue Peter. If I plug the iRig directly into my MacBooks 3.5 mm headphone jack with no adapter, it still doesn’t get any power. [mod redacted- unnecessary, and please review the rules when posting]

The port must be an combination input/output but either way, this is a matter to report to IK Support and they will assist you directly. The forum users, mods, nor admins can assist you properly with your issue.
