Update firmware - Device not found

Hi All

Probably not a common problem as I cannot find anything re this issue on the forum.

Bought a TONEX pedal a few weeks ago but have only got around to do something with it.
I know! Been busy.
Should have waited. I could now get the pedal for £100 less! :roll:

Anyway, I thought that I would update the firmware first. When I open iRig firmware updater, and search for the pedal, I immediately get "Device not found".

I have tried different USB cables and sockets, but still get the Device not found message.

I have updated the standalone Tonex software on my PC with no problem.
I have made sure all programs are up to date.

Does anyone have any help or suggestions please ?

TONEX Pedal isn't an iRig unit, so you would not use that firmware updater for it. You update the TONEX Pedal and TONEX ONE from the TONEX software.

Thank you for the very prompt reply.
Wasn't aware of that. I didn't read the instructions to be that though. :?

I have actually just opened librarian about 10 minutes ago with the pedal connected and got a message on screen saying an update was required. Followed the instructions there and I think my pedal is now updated - librarian now says the pedal is ver 1.5.13.
Was just about to reply to my post with this info when I saw your reply.
