Is there a replacement for the iRig Acoustic Stage?

I have the iRig Acoustic Mic (hangs on soundhole), but not the Stage with the interface/preamp. I have no IOS products. I want to plug the Acoustic Mic (⅛) into my modeling amp (¼). What do I need in between as an interface or preamp, similar to the Stage?

Is there a portable preamp that you'd recommend? I've managed the conversation of TRRS to TRS, but in two steps...⅛"TRRS to ⅛" TRS, then ⅛"TRS to ¼"TRS, but no sound from my Spark Mini amp. It looks that you're correct about needing a preamp in the chain to boost the mic signal before the modeling amp.
