AXE I/O Loses settings after reboot

Using an AXE I/O with MAC Mini, Monterey, Amplitube 5 MAX.

I change my tuner to mute, and direct monitor to stereo. It will only retain the changes until the computer reboots, and then it resets to default.

I have seen this mentioned in another thread with no resolution. Has anyone discovered a way to save these settings? And yes, I know that there are other systems that require you to set up for each session, but this seems rather tedious, and basic.

I have not opened a support ticket yet, I thought I would make sure that the community does not have a solution first.

Have you saved the new "tweaked" default as the new default (Hint : the name of the default tone is called Default.at5p and it's in the root of your presets directory) before closing the app ?

Its the Axe I/O settings, not Amplitube.

No I have not. I opened a ticket with IK, but have not received a response yet. I am thinking it may be some weird security setting in the MAC OS, but I have not been able to run it down. Right now, I just have to open the AXE I/O Control Panel every time I fire it up.
