AXE I/O input channels separate as different input devices

Postby stu640978 » Sun Mar 26, 2023 10:18 am

I just got a new xlr dynamic microphone and plugged into the line in 2 jack on my axe i/o.
Then I noticed that windows audio settings does not show Line In 1 and Line In 2 as two inputs, just one named as Line In 1/2.

My question is how to separate the two channels as two devices. I want to practice guitar and chat with my friends on discord at the same time, but don't want to bother them by my guitar sound.

I can't find a way to set this properly, does anyone know how to do this?
Please help me, thanks.

I think it is a TRS connection (Tip Ring Sleeve) The hardware through the driver outputs to both so you can have 2 mono connections with a Y cable or 1 stereo connection.
