IRig Keys 2 Pro: ‘bypass’ headphones on iPad?

Postby patgboran » Thu Mar 24, 2022 11:24 pm

Does anyone using this keyboard with an iPad know if/how to turn off the built-in headphone feature. I want to hear the sound through iPad speakers, but I understand that connecting iRig Keys 2 Pro makes iPad send sound through the connecting cable to the iRig’s headphones port, thereby cutting the sound from the speakers.

Any way to turn off this feature?

Unfortunately this is an iOS issue/"feature" not unique to IK hardware: https://www.ikmultimedia.com/faq/?id=1284
