Stealth Pedal on macOS Catalina?

Hey all,

I recently moved to a much newer MacBook and am now running macOS Catalina 10.15.5. I've downloaded the current StealthPedal MIDI Control app 1.1.1 and have disabled appNap completely (as shown https://osxdaily.com/2014/05/13/disable ... -mac-os-x/).

When I run the Stealth Pedal MIDI control app, I'm trying to click the Control button to ON. It will light up for a brief moment and then turn off immediately afterward. Does anyone have any further suggestions for what to try?
