AXE I/O w/ Amplitube = clean tone + altered sound?

Postby jdobyan » Tue Dec 07, 2021 8:03 pm

Hey guys,

I'm new to guitar and interfaces etc so excuse me if I dont get all the terminology correct.

I have an AXE I/O connected to my PC with Amplitube 5 MAX and a headrush speaker connected to the AXE. When I play guitar, I hear a clean tone along with whatever tone I pick in amplitube.

however when I connect my focusrite scarlett solol, I dont get the extra clean tone, just the tone I pick in amplitube.

How do i get rid of the added clean tone?

Thanks in advance

Hi jdobyan

The first thing to look at would be the Monitor knob on the front of the AXE IO to make sure it is set fully-clockwise to DAW.

Let us know if that helps.
