I need help; No input signal on the iRig HD2

So basically all until yesterday it worked fine (Merry Christmas lol) for the whole 2 weeks. After windows update, it simple went dead. My iRig HD2 whenever I plug it into the USB port on my laptop (ASUS ROG Strix GL503vd) the iRig light indicator is bright blue all the time.

Yesterday I decided heck, going to reinstall Windows and install from the ground zero all the drivers, including installing the IK multimedia iRig Device control panel + ASIO4all drivers... and still nothing. There is simply no signal whatever I do in both latest AmpliTube and Bias FX. When I doo the test, there is output sound (when u press the button for the test), but input is simply dead, zero reading whatever I doo with the guitar. And here are couple of screenshots to show that all the settings are as they should be.

iRig HD2, bright blue light constantly on, there is not blinking like for example when u strum the strings on the guitar.

Hello mariokulas and welcome to the forum.

I am sorry to hear about the problems you are running into. Don't you just love those forces Windows 10 updates? ...

There was n I/O problem with AT5 v5.0.0, but v5.0.1 should have fixed it. As I understand it, some users had to try out different input channels from their audio interface to "find" the input.

If they do not resolve the issue, there is a link at the top of the Search FAQs page to the Technical Support form, for some one to one investigation and help. Thank you for your answer; Yeah.. I went through the FAQs even before I decided to post here; tried all and still nothing; so I decided to contact the official support. What bugs me is the indicator light is always on when I plug it into the PC, while everybody else if something bothers them doesn´t have light at all hah, or is blinking or something else. I also tried every single port I have...

If nothing happens or I don´t get some advice from support I think ill simply save my nerves for further wondering inside the blind street and give a shoot with some other product...

Okay, seems I succeded to resolve the problem by updating the Firmware, BUT by downloading them manually from here: https://www.ikmultimedia.com/userarea/firmware/

When I was trying to update them via the version from the Product Manager that you install on Windows, for some reason it wouldn´t recognize my iRig when it was plugged into the laptop.

****, oh well... I guess solved :S : )))

I’m having the same problem with my Irig keys I/O. After the update failed, it doesn’t work… only shows a blue light on input. Before i tried to update the firmware everything was going well.I tried to reinstall the firmware or update but the application doesn’t even recognize the keyboard.
