I used amp5 max on windows 10 for quite a while. then new PC, Win 11 - Amp 5 loaded and ran, but with latency issues. Life happened, and after several months of not launching AMP5, I get back to it. Here is where the problem begins. AMP 5 launched, and I could play simultaneous youtube, video streaming service, and AMP 5 but the laltency issues were still present.
I mucked around with the settings in AMP 5 and ended up with AMP only sound, no other audio.
Then while changing driver settings in AMP 5, AMP 5 locked up and I had to end it from the task manager. SO now, AMP crashes upon startup, at the 'fake marshall' screen at about 30%. Amp just disappears. All other audio - youtube, streaming services, system sounds, work fine.
I am using a Focusrite Scarlett solo. PC is nothing to speak of - no games, no midi, no other tools or apps.
