During the capture process, cables with different capacitances can be used, resulting in a natural rolloff of high frequencies. It would be interesting if the capture process sent an 'Adjustment' to the high frequencies with some different levels in the volume above to ensure the best capture without running the risk of losing details due to cable capacitance. This would ensure a capture that is more faithful to reality.
