Hello - I hope someone can help me with my ToneX upgrade.
I purchased the ToneX in the Spring of 2023.
I have a Windows 10-64 workstation and a Focusrite Scarlett 2i4 Interface.
I haven't done too much with my Tonex - I had some new user questions when I started and IKMM never responded - so I haven't been able to move forward with using it.
I've seen the recent upgrades over the last few months and I'd like to get those changes applied and see what this thing can really do.
I don't think I ever installed the ASIO drivers - I had a question about installing the Tonex ASIO driver and if it would overwrite the Focusrite ASIO driver.
Can both drivers be installed on my machine - will they interfere with each other?
I have not done any firmware updates in the two years I've had it. Not sure how many there have been - but I heard about the two recent upgrades IKMM has pushed to the ToneX.
In my Product Manager under Tonex / Hardware I see two entries:
TONEX ASIO Driver 5.68 (Windows) Ver. 5.6.0 Released on 2024-05-07
and
TONEX Pedal ASIO Driver 5.50.0 (Windows) Ver. 5.5.0 Released on 2023-02-16
Silly question - but I install then both - correct? first 5.50.0 and then 5.68 - right?
I hope someone with some experience can assist - thanks in advance.

Yes, you can install both the ToneX ASIO driver and the Pedal ASIO driver on your Windows 10 machine; they're designed to function together. Installing the older version (5.50.0) first and then updating to the most recent (5.68) is the standard procedure, but make sure to follow any unique installation instructions supplied with each update. It's a good idea to keep your device up to date with firmware upgrades so that you can take advantage of the latest features and improvements. If you have any problems or need detailed instructions, contacting IK support again may help, as they may provide step-by-step assistance. Good luck unlocking your ToneX's full potential!
