Hello,
Is it possible to have a unique guitar sound/amp per track with the 8 track mixer? If I record a rhythm track and then move to track 2 and record a solo using a different amp, the rhythm track takes on the solo amp as well. Is there a way to keep them separate. Actually, there must be a way because I see people do it on YouTube all the time, but can't seem to figure it out. Any help would be appreciated.

Yes, it is definitely possible to have a unique guitar sound or amp setting for each track on an 8-track mixer. The key is to ensure that each track is properly set up to maintain its own sound profile

Thanks for your reply. I’m not sure what you mean by setting up a sound profile be each. There’s the obvious dials, etc. on the left but nothing to control it specifically.

It might be clearer if you switch out of the 8-track recorder view back to the "Gear Selector" view. In that view, notice the numbers 1-8 in a grid in the bottom bar - that is the track selector widget. Click a number (track) and set up the gear for that track. Then select a different track and set up the gear for that track. By default AmpliTube is only enabled for the 1st track so when you click another track you will get prompted to turn on AmpliTube for that track so click the "Enable" button. Once you've set up that track you can click on 1 in the track selector and you should still see your rhythm setup and then click back to 2 and see your lead setup. Now you can switch back to the recorder view and record your two tracks.
I cover this in my
video on the bottom bar recorder. One thing you can NOT do is record any midi data as you play, for that you need a more full featured Digital Audio Workstation (like Reaper).

Thanks for your reply. That worked. I must of been doing something wrong when switching between tracks. Much appreciated and subscribed to your channel.
